Acquisition grows Ascendance to ten dealership locations in Pennsylvania
[Harrisburg, Pa.] December 16, 2021— Ascendance Truck Centers, LLC, Pennsylvania’s largest International® truck dealer, recently acquired Noerr’s International, based in Lewistown, Pa. The acquisition of Noerr’s fits into Ascendance’s strategy to expand throughout Pennsylvania.
Noerr’s International has been serving central Pennsylvania with International trucks and full-service parts and service departments since 1937. With this acquisition, Ascendance will expand its geographic market into the greater State College, Pa., area with two new dealership branches strategically located in Lewistown and Milesburg, Pa.

Noerr’s International was owned by Ed and Tom Noerr who have decided to retire after working in the family business for nearly 50 years. They were the fourth generation of ownership for Noerr’s International, which has served Lewistown for more than 84 years. Ed’s sons, Chris and Brent, along with all current employees will continue to serve customers at the present location under the Ascendance leadership.
