Ascendance Truck Centers is pleased to announce that Jeremy Thomas, Service Technician based in the Johnstown, PA, branch, was recently honored with 2023 Veteran Technician of Influence Award from Navistar for October 2023. The Veteran Technician of Influence Award is given to technician professionals with two or more years of experience at the dealership, have shown commitment to Uptime by being top producers, have gone the extra mile, and have proven they are responsible and trustworthy. They have also demonstrated their commitment to pursuing continuous improvement and delivering the highest level of customer service.
Jeremy is a very passionate and motivated technician at Ascendance Truck Centers, formerly Five Star International. He takes great pride in the work he does, as well as in taking the lead with training up-and-coming techs. Jeremy is always willing to help in any way he can, including providing his knowledge and skills to everyone who asks.
Over the course of Jeremy’s career with Ascendance, he has stayed countless times after his shift to make sure job deadlines are met. Moreover, Jeremy goes the extra mile by visiting customer locations to help with troubleshooting. He is a true team player who always lends a hand in the shop when someone is stuck. Jeremy has offered, on several occasions, to come in on his days off to help when he knows the team is in a bind. Additionally, he makes sure work is handed out in the shop and assists in making sure his fellow techs are in the right direction and on the right job.
